Carrabiitol® was evaluated in Glycine max L. across three contrasting agro-ecological zones of Himachal Pradesh, India, to assess its ability to support crop growth and productivity under variable climatic conditions.
Multi-Location Validation
ZONE I Sub-Montane Low-Hill Subtropical
Hotter conditions with comparatively lower rainfall
ZONE II Mid-Hill Sub-Humid
More favourable growing environment
ZONE III High-Hill Temperate Wet
Cooler, wetter growing conditions
Evaluating Carrabiitol across contrasting environments enabled assessment of its performance under differing temperature, rainfall and crop-growth condit
Performance Under Climatic Variability
The highest absolute soybean growth performance occurred in the mid-hill sub-humid zone, where growing conditions were comparatively favourable.
However, the largest relative improvement in seed yield occurred in the hotter and drier low-hill zone, where Carrabiitol® at 125 g/ha increased yield by approximately 54.3%.
This distinction is particularly important because it suggests that Carrabiitol helps reduce productivity losses associated with unfavourable climatic conditions, rather than simply enhancing crops under ideal conditions.
