Bio Granules Black | Rice

Bio Granules Black was evaluated on rice across three contrasting agro-ecological zones of Himachal Pradesh, India, to assess its effect on crop growth, yield attributes, grain productivity, nutrient composition and economic returns.

The university-led study covered Akrot, Palampur and Dharer, representing sub-montane low hills, mid-hill sub-humid and high-hill temperate rice-growing environments.

Multi-Location Evaluation

Crop: Rice, variety PAC 807+
Locations: Akrot | Palampur | Dharer
Agro-Ecological Zones: 3
Rates: 12.5 | 18.75 | 25 kg/ha
Design: Randomized Block Design | 4 replications
Study Year: 2024

Up to 21% Higher Rice Grain Yield

Beyond final yield, Bio Granules Black improved important yield-contributing characteristics including effective tillers, panicle length, grains per panicle, grain weight per panicle and 1000-grain weight.

The study concluded that 18.75–25 kg/ha provided the strongest overall agronomic response and also proved most economical in terms of net returns and net return per rupee invested.
